How it works

1. Free site survey and menu planning
We assess your space, access and expected usage, recommend a suitable machine and discuss the products your team wants.

2. Delivery and installation
For qualifying sites, we deliver, install and test the machine at no cost to your business. You provide suitable level floor space and a standard 13-amp electrical socket. Snack and cold drink machines do not need plumbing.

3. Stocking, cleaning and maintenance
We use remote monitoring to help schedule local service visits. We replenish products, clean the machine and handle technical support and repairs.

General FAQs

How does the fully managed service work?
CLM supplies, installs, stocks, cleans and maintains the machine. We retain the product sales revenue to cover the service. Qualifying sites pay no upfront machine costs or ongoing management fees; the host provides space and electricity.

Are there any hidden charges?
There are no maintenance, restocking or administration fees for standard qualifying sites. Smaller sites have a fixed monthly service charge, agreed before installation. Electricity is paid by the host.

Is there a contract?
There is no contract. We explain the service arrangements and any smaller-site charge before installation. Contact us if your requirements change.

Site and technical requirements

What do we need to provide?
A suitable level floor area and a standard 13-amp mains socket within one metre of the proposed machine position. We check space, access and power during the survey. No water connection or plumbing is needed for our snack and cold drink machines.

Who pays for electricity?
The host business pays for the electricity. Energy use varies by machine, settings and location. We can discuss the proposed machine and its available energy-saving features during your site visit.

What is the minimum staff or visitor requirement?
For the free managed service, we generally look for around 75–100 or more active staff or daily visitors. Suitability depends on expected usage and is assessed during the site survey.

Can a site with fewer than 75 staff have a machine?
Yes. We can offer a managed machine with a small, fixed monthly charge to cover servicing and stocking. We’ll discuss suitability and confirm the price before you decide.

Payments and products

Do machines accept contactless and mobile payments?
Yes. Our card readers support debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Coin payment can also be arranged where required, depending on the machine.

Can we choose the products?
Yes. We build the selection around your team’s preferences, from familiar crisps, chocolate and cold drinks to low-sugar drinks and healthier snack options, subject to availability. We can review the range as preferences change.

Maintenance and restocking

How often will you restock and clean the machine?
Visits are planned around your site’s sales and stock levels. Busy sites may need several visits each week; quieter sites need fewer. We agree a suitable schedule and adjust it as usage changes.

What happens if there is a fault or a product gets stuck?
Call 07837 008805 or email connor@clmvending.co.uk with your site, machine and a brief description. Technical support and repairs are included in the managed service. We’ll assess the issue and arrange the appropriate repair.
